ARM Cuauhtémoc Scheduled to Visit Hawai‘i

Maritime Hawai‘i has learned that the Armada de México’s (Mexican Navy) sail training ship, ARM Cuauhtémoc (BE-01), is scheduled to arrive in Honolulu later on this year.

The visit is part of a nine-and-a-half-month cruise around the world to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Mexican constitution.

The ship began her journey at the beginning of last month (February), sailing first to Acapulco, Mexico and then on to Balboa, Panama. She is currently in Boston, Massachusetts.

After Boston, she is scheduled to visit Huelva, Spain; Barcelona, ​​Spain; Civitavecchia, Italy; Crete, Greece; Port Said, Egypt; Mumbai, India; Singapore; Manila, Philippines; Shanghai, China; Busan, South Korea; Kobe, Japan; Honolulu; and Los Angeles, California before returning to Acapulco.

Maritime Hawai‘i will post date and time information for the ship’s arrival and departure as soon as it is available.
