Women Offshore
Women Offshore is a new (July 2017) website dedicated to supporting a diverse maritime workforce.
The site features: industry news; profiles of women currently employed in offshore and maritime industries; stories of female seafarers throughout history and their contributions; career resources and guidance; and shipboard health and wellness advice.
Women Offshore also acknowledges all of the men who have worked hard towards bringing more women into what has been mostly a man’s world.
Although not directly connected to Hawai‘i, the organization’s mission and resources are relevant to Hawai‘i women currently working in or considering a job in a maritime industry.
