Hakuho Maru (1989)
Research vessel Hakuho Maru (IMO 8714700 🇯🇵) outbound from Pier 30, Honolulu Harbor. She was assisted by P&M Marine Services tug Tiger 6.
The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) has operated Hakuho Maru since 2004. The equipment available on board the ship allows scientists to conduct marine biological, seismological, geochemical, and geophysical research at sea.
