On the Water – Exy Johnson (2002)
During a visit in October 2025 to Los Angeles, California, Maritime Hawai‘i had the opportunity to sail on board the Los Angeles Maritime Institute’s brigantine Exy Johnson during the organization’s Explore the Coast sail. This particular educational program features STEM-related activities for young people.
After the trauma of the sad end of Falls of Clyde, it was soothing to be out on the water as a passenger on a sailing ship. Vitamin Sea indeed.
