Battleship USS Iowa
The USS Iowa is the first (followed by the USS New Jersey, USS Missouri, and USS Wisconsin) of four Iowa-class battleships built for the United States Navy. She is currently preserved as a museum ship in the Port of Los Angeles at San Pedro, California.

Thank you for sharing this historical information and photo.
It’s amazing that all four of these beauties have been preserved. As our generations get further from the scars of WWII, probably the stateside three will lose enough popularity to support their funding and have to be disposed of, but fortunately the USS MISSOURI in Pearl Harbor will likely be preserved for many generations to come!
