Global Sentinel (1991)

Global Sentinel is operated by TE SubCom (Subsea Communications), which is a TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco Electronics) company.
TE SubCom is involved with the Hawaiki transpacific submarine cable project. Work on Hawaiki’s fiber optic cable network is currently underway. When it is completed later this year, it will link Australia and New Zealand to Hawai‘i, American Sāmoa, and the United States mainland.
