Geo Resolution Pi‘ilani

Geo Resolution is a marine survey vessel operated by EGS. She was built in Mississippi by VT Halter Marine (also built Pasha Hawaii’s Jean Anne and Marjorie C). After she was launched in 1989, she was commissioned as USNS Tenacious and was used by the navy as an ocean surveillance vessel to track submarines. She was sold to New Zealand in 1997. She was commissioned as HMNZS Resolution and was used primarily as a survey vessel until decommissioned in 2012. In 2014, she was sold to EGS.
