2019 Dave Lyman Memorial Scholarship Fund Dinner
The biennial Dave Lyman Memorial Scholarship fundraising dinner is “on hold” at this time according to Captain Ed Enos.
Pilot 5 – Captain Dave “Kawika” Lyman.
The event usually coincides with the arrival of California Maritime Academy’s training ship, Golden Bear, in Hawai‘i. This year the ship will be sailing to the Atlantic Ocean instead.
It is still possible that a smaller event will be held this year. Keep checking the Dave Lyman Memorial Scholarship Fund website for updates.
Even if there is no dinner this year, you can still donate to the fund. Your money goes toward tuition assistance for young men and women from Hawai‘i who are attending California Maritime Academy.
The scholarship is named in honor of Captain Dave “Kawika” Lyman, who was a California Maritime Academy graduate.
