On Board Matson’s Maunawili

Maunawili inbound, Honolulu Harbor. 31 May 2015.

Maunawili was built by Kvaerner Philadelphia Shipyard (now Philly Shipyard) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and entered service in 2004.

She is one of five vessels currently on Matson’s China-Long Beach Express service run. Westbound from Long Beach (California), these ships call on Honolulu (Hawai‘i), Guam, and Naha (Okinawa) before arriving at Ningbo (China). They also call on Shanghai (China) before sailing directly back to Long Beach.
