Dependable is a cable ship operated by SubCom, formerly TE SubCom. TE Connectivity sold TE SubCom to Cerberus Capital Management at the end of 2018, which prompted the name change.

Dependable’s design features a combination of three types of thrusters: bow, swing down, and azimuth stern. These thrusters allow for increased maneuverability, which dispenses with the need for harbor assist tugs.
