Harbor Police headquarters at Pier 15 on Nimitz Highway. Features of the former fire station, such as the hose tower and location of the old bay doors, are still visible. 17 October 2021.

The old Waterfront Fire Station (Hale Moku Kinai Ahi) at Pier 15, Honolulu Harbor, has been renovated and turned into the new headquarters for the State of Hawai‘i Department of Transportation’s Harbor Police.

The original building was officially dedicated in a ceremony held on 10 January 1952. It served as a base over the years for the fireboats Abner T. Longley and Moku Ahi.


Note: The new headquarters building was officially dedicated on 16 November 2021. According to a DOT Harbors press release, the cost of the renovation was $5.23 million.
