Falls of Clyde (1878)

The Falls of Clyde was built by Russell and Co. at Port Glasgow, Scotland. She was launched on 12 December 1878 (143 years ago). She was originally a full-rigged ship but was later converted to a barque.

As Maritime Hawai‘i reported last month, Falls of Clyde – International’s plan to move Falls of Clyde back to Scotland has given her a chance to live on. We look forward to hearing more details about the organization’s plans in the coming months.
