Falls of Clyde – July 2025 Update

With some trepidation, I made my way to Pier 7 at Honolulu Harbor today.

Work to prepare the former National Historic Landmark ship, Falls of Clyde, for disposal has definitely begun. Poor girl.

Since people are interested in what is going on with Falls of Clyde, I will provide updates as often as my schedule permits.

* Donald B. would have been so angry to see all this. I am glad that he does not have to.

Thank you for providing this sad commentary. Unfortunately, along with the glory, this is also what history is made of.

Hi George. The frustrating thing about this situation is that another option could have been worked on with the group from Scotland to save the ship rather than scuttle her.
