Beautiful catch! She’s foreign-built, first sailing for German owners under Liberian flag as FREDERIKE OLDENDORF. She was built in China in 2017. She came to U. S. flag in 2020. It doesn’t appear she has coastwise trading privileges (which normally aren’t granted to foreign-built vessels under the Jones Act), so she must be importing or exporting foreign cargoes.
