A Hui Hou Itsukushima (PL 23)
Japan Coast Guard ship Itsukushima (IMO 9942251 🇯🇵) arrived in Honolulu Harbor from San Francisco, California on 3 June 2026. She tied up at Pier 10.
The ship departed Honolulu for Sydney, Australia on 7 June 2026. She was assisted by Foss Maritime tug Freedom.

The ship is named after Itsukushima (also known as Miyajima), which is an island in Hiroshima Bay, Japan. She functions as a training ship for Japan Coast Guard Academy cadets.
